BMW X5 eDrive Overview with Gerhard Thiel – A Technology derived from the BMW i8 and BMW i3, this is the first in a future of BMW eDrive lineup of plug-in hybrid vehicles. An Electric motor at 95HP and 184 lb-ft of torque working together or separately with a new generation of 2.0L 4 Cylinder gas engine capable of  240HP and 255lb-ft of torque with a combined power of 320HP at 442lb-ft of torque! On pure electric mode the BMW X5 eDrive can travel about 32km, which is roughly about the distance between Markham to Downtown Toronto. In addition, it is possible to reach a 120km/h top speed in pure electric mode so it has the pace and economy.
